Welcome to Rare Antiques (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or purchasing from our website www.rareantiques.ca (“the Site”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. General Information

Rare Antiques is an online retail store based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, dealing in antiques, works of art, and vintage items. We offer global sales and shipping of collectible and decorative items. By using our Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use this Site.

2. Product Condition and Authenticity

All items sold on Rare Antiques are pre-owned and sold “as is.”
We take great care in describing and photographing our items accurately and to the best of our knowledge. However:

  • We cannot guarantee absolute accuracy regarding provenance, maker, year of production, materials, or attribution.
  • Errors or omissions in descriptions, titles, or details may occur.
  • Buyers are encouraged to review all images and descriptions carefully before purchasing and to reach out for additional information if needed.

3. Pricing, Duties, and Taxes

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified.

  • International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees, which are the sole responsibility of the buyer, unless prepaid via a selected shipping service.
  • Rare Antiques does not control or determine such fees. Please consult your local customs office for more information prior to purchase.

4. Shipping and Liability

We use reputable and insured shipping carriers and take extreme care in packaging all items.
However, once an item leaves our possession:

  • We cannot be held liable for any loss, delay, or damage occurring during transit.
  • Shipping insurance claims (if applicable) must be filed directly with the shipping provider.

We do offer in-person appointments in Windsor, Ontario by prior arrangement only.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Store Credits

All sales are final.
We do not offer refunds.
In exceptional cases, we may issue a store credit at our sole discretion.
