Consignments

RareAntiques.ca welcomes trusted vendors to showcase and sell their unique antique and collectible items through our platform. Our goal is to ensure that every piece is presented and sold with the highest level of care, professionalism, and transparency.

Membership & Fees

To become a registered vendor with RareAntiques.ca, a one-time non-refundable membership fee of $100 CAD is required. Once registered, vendors are eligible to submit items for consignment at any time.

Commission Structure

RareAntiques.ca retains a 50% commission on the final sale price of each consigned item. Commission is only charged once a sale is successfully completed. Vendors receive the remaining 50% minus any applicable taxes or fees required by law.

Item Review & Presentation

To maintain the quality and authenticity of offerings on our platform, all items submitted will undergo:

• Professional appraisal for valuation and authenticity
• High-quality photography for online and marketing use
• Cleaning or minor preparation when necessary to ensure optimal presentation

These services are included as part of the consignment process and help promote a successful sale.

Pricing & Adjustments

Pricing is established based on the appraised value and current market demand. RareAntiques.ca may, upon consultation with the vendor, adjust listing details or pricing to improve market response.

Store Policies & Regulatory Compliance

All sales conducted through RareAntiques.ca are governed by our current store policies, including returns, payment processing, and customer protections. These policies may be updated periodically to ensure compliance with local and federal laws, marketplace standards, or operational improvements.

Payment to Vendors

Vendor payouts are issued promptly after the buyer’s transaction is fully completed and any return policy waiting period has expired.

Term & Removal of Items

Vendors may request the removal of their unsold items with reasonable notice. RareAntiques.ca also reserves the right to remove items that no longer meet our standards or platform requirements.
